Compliance is a legal institute, that currently affects predominantly publicly listed companies.

At the moment the implementation of compliance is being differently intesively pursued in the distinct industrial sectors. However, the development process increasingly concerns all industries.

Business processes induced thereby will sooner or later affect small- and medium-sized businesses as well.

Regulatory requirements such as insider dealing, anti-money laundering regulations, labour regulations etc. will apply to small- and medium-sized businesses, too. These processes should be adapted to a company´s internal operations and tested at an early stage.
